2026 21st International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems

Hello, this is QUAD Drone Laboratory.
I’m Geunchan Lee, Senior Researcher at QUAD Drone Lab.

From July 1st to July 3rd, our 911 Falcon team participated in the 2026 ICROS (International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems) held in Daegu.

The conference was a fantastic opportunity to observe a wide range of research fields—from mobile robots to humanoids—and to keep up with the latest trends in the robotics industry by exploring various technological experiments that aren’t easily accessible.

During the conference, we operated a booth for our QUAD 911 Falcon project and engaged in many productive conversations with attendees. In particular, it was an honor to have several Ph.D. and master’s researchers visit our booth and share their valuable insights on our project.

The sharp questions and advice we received on-site provided us with an objective perspective on our work. By identifying details we had overlooked and areas that needed improvement, we were able to re-evaluate the strategic direction of the 911 Falcon project.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who took the time out of their busy schedules to visit our booth and share their feedback. We plan to use these insights as we prepare for the next phase of our project.

The insights and advice gained from this conference will be carefully integrated into our ongoing 911 Falcon development series. We will continue to document the process of building a more robust system here on our blog, so please stay tuned for more updates.
